Great fishing spots By Frank Reed One of the great things about living in Montana,is the trout fishing. I have lived here for 5 years now and have got aquanted with some very good trout streams. I have fished the Clark Fork,Madison,Big Hole and numerous small streams around Montana. There are also some great little lakes to consider.Most of the lakes I fish in are on the Idaho-Montana border,in the 5 to 6000 foot elevations.They are usually full of Brook trout. But there are lakes here with cutthroat trout also,and many streams with brook,cutthroat,rainbow and browns. It is a great place to get away from the traffic of everyday life and enjoy some flyfishing with those flys one makes during the off season.You can follow me on some of these trips and I have good information on where the lakes are in the two countys I live close to plus tips and tricks on how to catch trout,bass,and catfish..
